Experimental and Electronic Works
This category of composition includes works which bend some element of traditional concert music: some include indeterminate instrumentation, others are focused more on the experience of music making than the sonic result, and still others are experimental audio tracks that explore the facets of physical sound.

For indeterminate instrumentation. Indeterminate duration, in ten works. Collection of distinct pieces meant to be performed with or by untrained music-makers. Intended to provide nonmusicians with the experience of nonjudgmental collaborative music making.

For indeterminate instrumentation. Indeterminate duration. Very personal and emotional performance in which a performer destroys a treasured possession.

Song of the Rains (2022)
For indeterminate instrumentation. Indeterminate duration. Performers destroy a printed score by holding it in the rain and playing from the resulting document.

speak no more. (2021)
For indeterminate instrumentation. Indeterminate duration (usually about 30-40 minutes), in 3 movements. A work celebrating found sounds, experimental notation, collaborative music-making, and silence. Thrilling to perform and fascinating to observe.

Uh oh. (2020)
For piano. About 1 minute. The music for this piece is given to the performer exactly 23 seconds before they must begin playing it. The performer is then expected to alter the score for the next performance of the piece. This piece may only be performed once by an individual.

Screaming Music (2020)
For vocalists, with optional piano part. Indeterminate duration. Performers scream as loudly as they can, while optionally slamming random keys on a piano. They may invite passersby to join them.

For indeterminate pitched instruments. Indeterminate duration. A mystical cloud of sound. Usually very serene and beautiful.

Fixed audio. About 6 minutes. A sound collage featuring recorded voices, found sounds, and original music. Bizarre, unnerving sonic world.

Fixed audio. About 3 minutes. Music concrete featuring extremely distorted sounds and noise oscillators.
